My Child, The Author
Every month, our young authors explore a new literary genre through a campus-wide writing prompt. Here is how our themes unfold, along with featured student publications from each edition.
June marks the start of a new academic journey. Students mapped physical campus routes, personal goals, and imaginary worlds through vivid sensory descriptions and structured poetry.
July sparked creative curiosity. Given a single mysterious prompt, a hidden key and a sealed door behind the school library, students crafted short stories focusing on pacing, suspense, and resolution.
August invites reflection on growth and sustainability. Students write letters addressed to their future selves, our planet, or the WisdomWood class of 2036, mastering argument structure and personal tone.
