Frequently Asked Questions
We understand that choosing a school involves many questions. Here are answers to some of the things families most often ask us.
Which academic year are admissions currently open for?
Admissions are currently open for AY 2027–28 across available grade levels. Seat availability varies by grade and is confirmed by the Admissions Office during the enquiry process.
Does submitting an enquiry confirm admission?
No. An enquiry is the first step in beginning a conversation with the school. Admission is confirmed only after completion of the admission process, document verification and payment of the applicable fees, subject to seat availability.
What is the admission process?
Our admission process consists of five steps:
Submit an enquiry and connect with the Admissions Office.
Visit the campus and understand the school’s learning approach.
Attend an age-appropriate child interaction/test, where applicable.
Participate in a parent orientation.
Complete the documentation and enrolment process.
Is there an entrance examination?
We do not conduct a high-pressure entrance examination. Depending on the grade, the child may participate in an informal, age-appropriate interaction or academic-readiness activity. This helps us understand the child’s interests, learning needs and current level of understanding.
Can we visit the campus before applying?
Yes. Families are encouraged to visit the campus before making a decision. Campus visits are available by prior appointment and can be booked through the website or by contacting the Admissions Office.
What curriculum does WisdomWood High follow?
WisdomWood High follows the CBSE curriculum and is guided by the principles of NEP 2020. Alongside strong academic foundations, students learn through inquiry, projects, discussion, practical experiences, digital tools and regular feedback.
How does assessment work?
Assessment varies according to the child’s developmental stage. In the Foundation and Primary Years, progress is documented through classroom observations, portfolios, projects, periodic reviews and continuous feedback. In the Middle and Secondary Years, ongoing assessment is combined with formal examinations and structured preparation appropriate to the grade.
Age eligibility depends on the grade and the applicable requirements for the academic year. Parents may share the child’s date of birth with the Admissions Office to receive confirmation of the appropriate grade placement.
Which documents are required?
The documents generally required include:
The child’s birth certificate
Recent passport-size photographs
Child's Aadhar
Both Parent's Aadhar
Address proof
The child’s previous academic report
Transfer Certificate, where applicable
Child's Vaccination History
Any additional academic or support-related records relevant to the child
The final document checklist will be shared by the Admissions Office.
The complete fee structure and payment schedule are shared directly by the Admissions Office. Families will receive a clear breakdown of the applicable fees before confirming enrolment.
Is a Chromebook mandatory?
From AY 2027–28, every student from Grade 3 onwards will require a dedicated Chromebook as part of WisdomWood High’s 1:1 learning programme. The device will be used for research, collaboration, assignments, digital portfolios, creation and reflection.
Do we have to purchase the Chromebook through the school?
No. Families may purchase a compatible Chromebook independently from a retailer of their choice, provided it meets the school’s published technical and device-management requirements.
For families who prefer a simplified process, the school will also offer an optional school-facilitated procurement route. The choice of purchase route will not affect the child’s learning access or experience.
Is school transport available?
School transport is available on selected routes, subject to capacity and route feasibility. Parents may share their location with the Admissions Office to check the nearest available pickup point. Transport availability is confirmed separately from admission.
Our Admissions Team will be happy to guide you through the process and help you understand whether WisdomWood High is the right fit for your child.
